Our story
InkForge began with a simple frustration: the tools for writers were scattered across a dozen apps. A notebook for ideas, a separate app for world-building, a word processor for drafting, and a spreadsheet for tracking progress.
The mission
We set out to build a single, beautiful home for the entire creative writing journey — one where planning a story, building a world, and writing every day live together in harmony. A place where the tools get out of the way and the writing can finally begin.
How InkForge started
InkForge was designed and built by Rivaan Kapoor — a writer and developer who wanted a single, beautiful home for every part of the creative writing journey. What started as a personal project to fix a fragmented workflow became a platform for storytellers everywhere.
What we believe
Great stories deserve great tools. But great tools should feel like a quiet desk and a fresh notebook — not a noisy dashboard. We believe in focus, in building habits, and in technology that serves the craft instead of interrupting it.
Focus over features
We build tools that help you write more, not dashboards that distract you from writing.
Creativity first
Every feature exists to serve the storyteller. Technology should fade into the background.
Writers, not data
Your stories are yours. We never sell your data or train AI on your writing without consent.
